Deeply Inspired by performing for the mega CTEEN (a chabad outreach organization) international shabbaton, where hundreds of girls from around the globe danced and sang about their Jewish Pride, Moussia decided to take one of the songs she sang by the performance, CROWN, and turn it into her 7th beautiful release in time for Purim; the message of the song perfectly connecting to this time!
"The concept of 'Crown' is a metaphor to our Jewish heritage and furthermore as Jewish Women, to our pure dignity and valor. Modesty turns something into a valuable, rare, and precious entity. The Shushan palace guards had to search endlessly to find her - she was valuable, she was rare. Hadassa was a pure, humble, refined, nurturing, and happy young Jewish woman. She might have sounded soft and looked simple - yet she stood out amongst thousands of stunning women. The king was attracted to something internal...something real...something pure- her neshama- her CROWN furthermore her tznius- the JEWELS on her crown. It is that soul that crowned Esther Hamalka a princess, a bas melech, a daughter of The Kings of all Kings Hashem. All of us too, as the Bnos Yisroel are all born with that ‘spiritual’ crown on our heads “and they can never take your crown.” It may seem like an oxymoron: humility, modesty, refined AND fashion, beauty, expressiveness. Yet Esther Hamalka blended both to accomplish her mission which makes it possible for us as well, to share our passion and light while still holding our ‘aidelkeit’ and valor as a Bas Melech. When we channel our yiddishe feminine dignity, we add endless jewels and shine our beautiful CROWN." ~ Moussia
